About Alexandra Giannopoulos, M.A. 

Alexandra Giannopoulos is a painter, illustrator, teacher, and comic book reader, living and working in her hometown of Chicago. She has received degrees in Studio Art, Art History and Art Education. Inspired by culture, travel, history and nature she has created and shown work throughout the Chicagoland area, New York and Europe. Alexandra believes that everyone has a unique story to share. She believes that art can bring out hidden aspects of an individual's voice. She believes that art can be empowering. She believes that art can be a tool for social change.
